Grilled Steak with Herb Butter

This recipe makes a delicious and indulgent meal for every occasion! The Fresh Press Farms Olive Oil adds a rich and fruity flavor to the steaks while helping to keep them tender and moist during grilling. The herb butter adds an extra layer of taste and aroma, enhancing the savory flavors of the steak. Accompany the dish with grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a fresh green salad.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ribeye steaks (or any preferred steak cut)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Press Farms Olive Oil (Classic or Bold)

For the Herb Butter:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, rosemary, thyme)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Drizzle the Fresh Press Farms Olive Oil over the steaks and rub it in to coat evenly.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Grill the steaks for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
  • Once the steaks are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Place a dollop of the herb butter on each steak while they are still hot, allowing it to melt and infuse the meat with its flavors.
  • Serve the grilled steaks with the herb butter on top, and additional herb butter on the side, if desired.
